Your Responsibilities
Protostar Logistics “Fleet Dispatcher” is the quarterback in management, retention and profitability of his/her assigned fleet. You will be a key player in building and maintaining relationships between our drivers, customers and various departments within Protostar Logistics. You will orchestrate flawless freight movement on your fleet, scheduling appointments, clearing customs, booking new loads and providing all the support needed by your drivers and customers.

Sr. Accountant
YOU
You need a full time career position with one of the fastest growing Logistics Companies in Canada. You have a passion for numbers, are eager to learn the unique business processes of the Logistics industry and would love to navigate a maze of numbers to seek out discrepancies. You aspire to mentor accountants and continuously tweak, develop and nurture your accounting system. Your goal is to drive tighter accounting controls, improve accuracy of numbers, identify and eliminate fat within your company’s operations. Your 5 year goal is to be the Finance Manager (A trusted advisor to the CEO) for a Logistics company with annual sales revenues of over $10 million dollars.

With the help of two direct reports, you are required to manage payables, receivables and provide payroll for more than 30 employees. As an accountant you will reconcile company’s financial transactions with accurate financial reporting. You will work with management to develop performance metrics for our Trucking and Brokerage businesses.
